independent pet-service providers.

does not employ listed providers, perform their
services, or become a party to agreements made
directly between customers and providers.

These terms govern the use of the Paw-Jobs
website and its account, directory and
communication features.

02. Eligibility

insurance or licensing claims.

05. Animal Welfare

The safety and welfare of animals is a
fundamental condition of using Paw-Jobs.

• Animals must be treated humanely and respectfully.
• Abuse, neglect and deliberate cruelty are prohibited.
• Providers must use safe and suitable handling methods.
• Animals must receive appropriate food, water, care and supervision.
• Illness, injury or emergencies must be addressed promptly.

Credible reports of serious animal welfare
concerns may result in immediate temporary
account restrictions while the matter is reviewed.
Where appropriate, concerns may be reported
to relevant authorities.

06. Listings and Advertising

Listings must be lawful, accurate, relevant
to the platform and not misleading.

Prohibited listings include:

• Fraudulent or fictitious services.
• Illegal animal trading or prohibited activities.
• Misleading qualifications or fabricated reviews.
• Stolen photographs or copyright-infringing material.
• Spam, scams and malicious links.
• Services that present an unjustifiable risk to animal welfare.

Providers retain ownership of their original
content but grant Paw-Jobs a non-exclusive
licence to display, format and promote that
content in connection with operating the platform.
This permission ends when the content is removed,
subject to reasonable technical and legal retention.

07. Bookings and Agreements

Unless a particular Paw-Jobs service expressly
states otherwise, arrangements between customers
and independent providers are made directly
between those parties.

Providers must clearly communicate the scope
of services, prices, relevant conditions and
cancellation arrangements before an agreement
is concluded.

Paw-Jobs does not guarantee the availability,
quality or suitability of independent services.
Nothing in these terms removes rights or
remedies provided by applicable law.

08. Payments and Refunds

Any paid Paw-Jobs listing, subscription or
promotional feature must display its applicable
price, billing period, renewal terms and
cancellation conditions before purchase.

Where payment is made directly to a provider,
the provider must explain their payment and
refund arrangements and comply with applicable law.

Statutory cancellation, refund and other
consumer rights are not excluded by these terms.
Any platform fees or future payment services
will be subject to clearly disclosed additional
terms where necessary.

09. Reviews and Conduct

• Reviews must reflect genuine experiences.
• Fake reviews and paid undisclosed endorsements are prohibited.
• Harassment, threats and discriminatory abuse are prohibited.
• Users must not exploit, intimidate or defraud others.
• Users must not publish another person’s private information without lawful justification.

Paw-Jobs may moderate content reasonably and
proportionately to maintain platform safety,
accuracy and compliance.

10. Pawful Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe these terms have
been breached, Paw-Jobs may take proportionate
action, including:

• Requesting clarification or corrective action.
• Issuing a warning.
• Removing or editing prohibited listing content.
• Temporarily restricting account features.
• Suspending or terminating accounts for serious or repeated breaches.
• Reporting suspected unlawful conduct where appropriate.

Where reasonably practicable, we will explain
the reason for an enforcement decision and
provide an opportunity to request a review.
Urgent restrictions may be applied first
where necessary to address credible safety,
fraud or legal risks.

Enforcement decisions will consider the nature,
severity and available evidence of the issue.

11. Complaints and Disputes

Users should first attempt to resolve service
disagreements directly with the relevant
provider or customer where safe and appropriate.

Concerns about platform misuse, misleading
listings or account restrictions may be
submitted through the Paw-Jobs contact page.

We may review reports and take appropriate
platform action but do not guarantee to
mediate or determine private contractual disputes.

12. Privacy and Personal Data

Paw-Jobs processes personal information in
accordance with applicable data protection law.

who it may be shared with, retention periods
and how users may exercise their rights.

Users must not misuse personal information
obtained through the platform.

13. Platform Availability

Maintenance, technical problems or circumstances
outside our reasonable control may affect access.

We will take reasonable care in providing

for the services they personally supply and

or prevents users from pursuing remedies

Where fresh consent is legally required,
we will seek it before the relevant changes
take effect. Changes do not retrospectively
remove accrued legal rights.

16. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Scots law,
subject to any mandatory legal protections

right to bring proceedings in a court
available to the user under applicable law.
